A collection of abstract water colour paintings drawing on the power of feminine introspection of women during menstruation & using menstrual blood. All were created by the artist during the flow of one cycles blood. Each work is accompanied by a written piece journeying through themes of stories of the human body and psyche, of what it means to connect to your ancestral blood, your heart and to turn inwards for answers. According to the artist honouring the cycles of womanhood should be an intrinsic part of modern society and giving space to tune in and slow down is our human birth right.

Blut Spricht (Blood Speaks) talks about our roots as humans to the land we come from. It acknowledges the importance of connecting to where we emerge from physically, emotionally, ancestrally, culturally and about our birth place. It is the blood in our veins and our relationship to it that offer us a fundamental stability in ourselves and thus allows us to move freely through life remembering who we are along the way.
